Important Announcement about Training (04/22/2008)
The WSU IRB requires that all Principal Investigators, their Chairs, and personnel working on a project complete the required CITI training modules before their projects can receive IRB approval. To access the online training modules from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) go to https://www.citiprogram.org/Default.asp?. Below is a step-by-step Guide to using CITI and also a more detailed Guide that shows screen shots.
The CITI website will ask you questions about your role in research (i.e., behavioral PI, IRB member, etc.). Based upon your answers, CITI will tell you which modules to take. The IRB may also ask that you complete additional modules based upon what type of research you are doing (i.e., working with children, international research, etc.).
